Vitale in English

VITALE CAFÉ

Vitale coffee is a blend of two organic gourmet coffees, produced in two areas of Brazil with strong coffee histories - the state of Minas Gerais and São Paulo - that complements each other in terms of mild, strong flavors and aromas. Such a blend attains its highest level of quality at the unique formulation from this mixture, developed by the renowned barista Isabela Raposeiras, who we hired to maintain the perfect equilibrium of coffee from Minas Gerais and São Paulo, appreciated by those of the finest taste.

FLAVOURS AND AROMAS.

The Vitale coffee has a high complexity in its aromas and flavors. With an excellent sugar content and no bitterness, this blend provides a soft and fruity taste with marks of vanilla and herbs. It has an intense body with a persistent and liquoring retrotaste.

HISTORY

Vitale didn't begin just by chance. Both producers literally grew up on their parent's coffee plantation which once belonged to their grandparents.

The cultivation of coffee is a family tradition that improved over the years with technology and nature's own help coupled with their love for this tradition, has helped to produce a coffee of exceptional quality. The first result of their love for coffee cultivation is apparent in the type of coffee they planted on their farms (located in regions of high elevation, above 700 meters), Arabian. This type more than any other requires special care which helps to produce the best quality coffee beans, both in fragrance and in flavor.

The second result was their decision in the 90's, based on their concern of the environment, to change their method of coffee cultivation, from a conventional system, one which uses chemical fertilizers and pesticides, to an organic system which uses organic fertilizers and natural ways of pest prevention, allowing them to join the IBD - Institute of Biodynamic (The IBD monitors and certifies all organic production in Brazil. The head office is located in Europe and called International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements - IFOAM).

They overcame the difficulties they faced in making this change and ultimately received their IBD certification along with their IFOAM Accredited, their USDA (USA) and their JAS (Japan) certifications. The coffee, though, organically grown was produced with minimal defects, achieving a gourmet level of quality (the best grain pattern) and providing a most exceptional aroma and flavor.

A PACKAGE MADE FOR ITS CONTENTS

A package of Vitale coffee, with a fine touch of charm in its matted silver finish, was developed to guarantee the flavor quality and the integrity of the coffee for as long as possible. Guilherme Sebastiany, who is a renowned plastic artist, was responsible for the creation of the label art. In order to produce the label art for the packaging both Guilherme and Isabela researched together coffee plantation culture and the preparation of coffee beans for roasting. Because of their work the consumer will have at home a package of coffee which suits its quality and beauty and provides information of the coffee enclosed.

It's important to realize that all the processes of production and industrialization of the coffee as required by the IBD, the Vitale coffee also has earned all the certificates listed above, and can be consumed practically anywhere in the world as a true organic coffee.
